So, you’ve booked your Easter break and you (and the kids) are super excited. Now all you need to do is plan how to spend your well earned week or two, but fear not, help is at hand!
With any luck, the weather will be starting to heat up and Corwall will come alive to the splash of waves and excited throng of chocolate fuelled monsters. There is the obvious draw of the Cornish coastline for walks over craggy clifftops and surfing those clean, crisp curlers. But at Easter time, Cornwall offers even more.
When we travel, there is nothing worse than missing out on the must-see local events and activities, so we’ve scowered the web to bring you the best ways to fill your time with us. There couldn’t be a better time to start planning your holiday so, dive in and enjoy the Cornish spring time.
The Cornish Arms Beer & Mussel Festival, St Merryn
18th March to 20th Mar 2016
Just over a mile from the park, Stein-dynasty gastronomic wonders are served up for visitors and locals alike. At this popular festival, over 30 different beers & ciders will be available to tantalise even the greatest ale connoisseur. Add to the mix delicious mussel dishes, with a cooking demonstration by Jack Stein and talks from St. Austell Brewery as well as a charity pub quiz and music from Taz Djay Disco and The C90s and the whole offering makes for a great family day out. If it could get any better, the England rugby match will also be screened!
Padstow Easter Egg Rolling
Noon, Easter Sunday
This Easter Egg rolling event takes place each year in aid of the RNLI and provides fmily fun for all the family. Participants meet outside Cross House at the top of Duke Street and each bring along an extravagantly decorated hard boiled egg. So head along on Easter Sunday and join in with the traditional Easter fun. Don’t miss the clowns!
The Great Easter Egg Hunt, St Austell

The world famous Eden Project couldn’t offer a better backdrop for the easter egg hunt to top all easter egg hunts. Are you up for the challenge? This year it’s bigger and better than ever! Scramble through the eggy obstacle course, hunt out hidden eggs, and dip in to themed games for all the family. You’ll explore the world of egg-laying creatures too. Fun for everyone! All activities are included in Eden Project admission.
St Endellion Easter Music Festival, North Cornwall

One for the high brow music aficionados amongst you, St Endellion Easter Festival is unusual in that the musicians and singers are a mix of amateur and professional – all of whom pay to participate in just over a week of very high quality music making.
The programme of music takes place in the 15th century Collegiate Church of St. Endelienta, St. Endellion, North Cornwall and recent years have seen such works as Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Ravel’s G Major Piano Concerto and Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana being programmed in the main concerts. Early booking is advisable due to the festival’s international reputation.
